Effective August 2026 · ThreeCode
ThreeCode operates no servers that inTelePrompter connects to. The app runs entirely offline. Our privacy and support pages are published as ordinary static web pages; opening one uses your device's browser, and nothing about you is sent to us when you do.
inTelePrompter never opens a connection on its own. Every action that reaches beyond your device is one you start, and there are no others: opening our privacy or support pages, rating the app, emailing our support team, and sharing a script or backup you have chosen to export. Each hands off to a system feature — Safari's in-app browser, the App Store, Apple's mail composer, or the share sheet. If no mail account is set up on your device, the app copies our support address to your clipboard instead of handing you off at all.
inTelePrompter has no cloud service and no user accounts. The app never uploads or syncs your scripts, your settings, or your recordings. They are stored on your device. If you have turned on your device's iCloud Backup or iCloud Photos, iOS may include that content in your own backup — that is a setting on your device, not something the app does or controls.
If you delete the app, the data it stored on your device is deleted with it.
'Hello Prompter' is off until you turn it on. While it is on, the app uses your device's built-in speech recognition to listen for its pre-programmed command phrases. Recognition runs entirely on your device's native speech recognition, and returns text for whatever it hears, including your script as you read it. The app checks that text for the specific command phrase(s) required to activate 'Hello Prompter' operations, and does nothing else with that text. During this process, 200 characters are (at most) held in a limited memory window: those characters are never written to disk, they are never sent anywhere, and they are never used to determine or anticipate where you are in your script.
Two optional features use the microphone, and both operate strictly on your device:
Both features are optional and can be turned off in Settings at any time.
We designed inTelePrompter to use established, well-documented techniques for the audio-related features it ships with — for 'Hello Prompter', the device's own speech recognition, with the app acting only on a fixed list of command phrases; and for 'Auto Pause', comparing how loudly you are speaking now with how loudly you were speaking a moment ago. These are simple, long-established approaches, freely available for decades, and we made these choices with the existing patent landscape in the teleprompter and speech-recognition spaces in mind.
We believe creators deserve tools that work reliably, transparently, and without legal complications later on — for them and for us. Building responsibly is its own kind of quality.
If you choose to record yourself while reading, the video is saved to your Photos library. inTelePrompter has add-only Photos access: it can save new videos, but it can never read, browse, or modify your existing photos or videos. If you have iCloud Photos turned on, iOS may sync those videos — that is a setting on your device, not something the app does or controls.
When you import a script through the Files picker, the file's text is copied into your on-device script library. Import happens only when you initiate it, and the content is stored on your device with your other scripts.
inTelePrompter is a one-time purchase with no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. Your purchase is processed entirely by Apple; we receive no payment information about you.
Because inTelePrompter collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.
If a future version of the app ever changes how data is handled, we will update this policy before that version ships and note the change here.
